Gear that works, priced like it should
VÅGSLAND sells backpacking, winter and camp gear organised into kits. Every item sits in one of ten groups — Carry, Shelter, Sleep, Worn, Layers, Water, Kitchen, Food storage, Essentials, and Hygiene & LNT — so you can see what a complete setup needs and skip what you already own.
How we choose what we sell
We start with the job an item has to do, then look for the plainest product that does it well at a fair price. We check each price against similar gear sold elsewhere and set ours below it. Weights are listed in grams, and we say plainly when a specification comes from the manufacturer rather than our own testing.
What we leave out
No stove fuel, insect repellent, sunscreen or water-treatment chemicals — they are regulated and better bought locally. No technical climbing protection. No sleeping-bag temperature ratings that have not been tested to ISO 23537; we give fill weight and fill power instead.
